Water Leaders Congress

  • Date: 3 - 4 March 2009
  • Location: Sydney, Australia
  • Host: Key Media
  • Australia is currently exposed to the worst drought on record. This drought is worsened by the impact of global climate change - forcing cities, towns and regional areas to conserve water, to protect this precious resource.

Federal, state and local governments are battling to deliver an action plan for water security. Australia's water industry is also under scrutiny to improve its performance - with renewed focus on commercialising business performance, improving price signals for consumers, modernise water infrastructure, invest in clean water technology and ensure security of supply this decade.

The 2009 Water Leaders Congress will address all these issues and more with a series of presentations by some of Australia's top business minds in the water industry. They will share their expertise and strategies to improving the performance of Australia's billion dollar water sector.
